Celeb feud continues as Rory Cowan rejects Twink peace offering saying friendship 'dead' despite Facebook post

Rory Cowan has rejected a peace offering from Twink as he claims their friendship is “dead and buried.”

The former Mrs Brown’s Boys star used to be best pals with the panto queen before a bitter feud in 2017 ended their showbiz friendship.

Twink - real name Adele King – even attempted to form a reconciliation with the Fair City actor ahead of turning 70 during the Easter weekend.

Captioning a series of pictures of the pair on Facebook as they enjoyed happier times, Twink wrote: “April 6, 2017... Thank you Facebook. Once upon a time.

“I used to have an old friend who made me laugh so much it hurt, and treated me like a Queen.”

But Rory said he isn’t interested in reigniting their friendship.

He told Dublin Live: “If it’s a good memory for her, then fine. That’s well and good but I don’t think about her at all.

“It’s a past life. I’ve no interest in it. It’s nothing to do with me now.”

Their spat began when Twink called her ex-pal: “Rory the rat,” when it emerged that he secretly paid €18,000 to get her out of arrears of her Knocklyon home in Dublin.

The feud worsened when Twink turned up to Rory’s mother’s funeral in 2018 and he told her to leave.
