BRAKING NEWS Mrs Brown’s Boys teams up with motorcycling club to sponsor Skerries race – and Brendan O’Carroll may wave chequered flag at event
HILARIOUS telly show Mrs Brown’s Boys is motoring into a new adventure — sponsoring a top motorcycle road race.
Brendan O’Carroll’s show has teamed up with the East Coast Motorcycling Club to sponsor their September event at the Killalane Circuit outside Skerries, north Dublin.

Head of Branding for Mrs Brown’s Boys, Conor Gibney, is a Skerries man whose home is on the 5.8kilometre circuit which has a special logo featuring Agnes herself this year.
Conor told us: “Mrs Brown is a family and the Irish motorcycle community is such a close-knit community, they are almost a family.
“So, it’s one family sponsoring another.”
Mrs Brown’s Boys will help pay for more safety bales on the circuit, and additional safety features.
Producer Fiona Gibney said: “If we can bring money to the table and make it a safer race, that’s great.”
Road racing legend William Dunlop, 32, from Ballymoney, Co Antrim, lost his life last month in practice at the Skerries 100 race — which uses a nearby different circuit outside the seaside town.
Mrs Brown could even be waving the chequered flag with Brendan possibly making it to Skerries for the race weekend of September 8 and 9.
Conor said: “Brendan is over in Florida writing the Christmas special but he’s delighted that Mrs Brown is involved with the motorcycle community.
