The Generation Game Is Returning To Our Screens With Mel And Sue As Hosts

The former Bake Off presenters set to host the legendary show’s return!

It has been announced that the classic entertainment / game show ‘The Generation Game’ is to make a return to our screens with former Bake Off presenters Mel and Sue hosting.

The show is set for an initial run of just four episodes but a date for launch has not yet been decided.
“It’s a cuddly toy, it’s a toaster, it’s a circular power saw, no it’s Mel and Sue doing the Generation Game! We can’t believe it, we are so excited!” said the new presenters.
The BBC say that polls highlighted The Generation Game as “the TV show that viewers most wanted to see back on their screens” and is expected to hit high viewing figures.
The show features family members in their pairs with generational differences, grand father and grand daughter for instance, tackle games that are performance or task based.
This eventually culminates in the legendary Conveyor Belt of przies where the contestants are sat in front of a conveyor belt with various prizes going past them. They then have to remember the prizes to win them. Cuddly toy!

In the past The Generation Game has been hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth, the show’s longest serving presenter, Larry Grayson, Jim Davidson and two one off shows with Graham Norton and Veron Kay presenting.
