Granddad Brown Aka Dermot O'Neill leaving the team this Christmas


2017 marks an end to the Mrs Brown saga as Dermot O'Neill announced he is leaving at the end of
year.












Dermot O'Neill said " It's been a good run but it's time to say good bye as I need a break. I would like to say thank you to the cast and crew for being an amazing time."



Dermot O'Neill will continue the live shows until the end of 2017 and will film the two upcoming Christmas episodes. Where It's announced that his character is set to be killed off. Finally giving Mrs Brown's wish come true.



The two Christmas episodes will be filmed on Friday 22nd December 2017

  3. How sad to lose such a wonderful character, he will be missed. I do hope the shows will continue with new episodes and fresh material. Mrs. Brown's Boys is a needed comedy in a world full of sadness.

  9. Grandad, will be missed, by respect the actors wishes for a break, would be nice for the public to keep grandad in the show, but Dermot O'Neill, is a great person who I have seen in person after 2 live shows and he always has time for fans.
