Chef Aly never wanted to be a CHEF!

A Doncaster chef to the stars has landed a major role in a new primetime Saturday night entertainment show hosted by comedy sensation Mrs Brown. Catering consultant Aly Mahmoud was unveiled to millions of viewers in the first episode of new BBC1 show All Round To Mrs Brown's and shown cooking for guests, Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, singer James Blunt and Judy Murray, mum of tennis aces Andy and Jamie on the new programme.

"Our team of highly skilled and experienced chefs and front of house personnel will become an integral part of your production process providing a seamless catering and front of house experience. Our chefs all offer different skills from fresh salad specialist, Mediterranean and fish dishes to some of the best desserts you will have eaten!"

Described as "Chef Aly" in the show, the local businessman has previously worked with Mrs Brown star Brendan O'Carroll in a live stage show and has cooked for a host of top name stars during his career. In the first episode, he served up a Greek cottage pie as part of the comedy chat show, presented by foul-mouthed Irish "mammy" Agnes Brown and which is being lauded by the BBC as its next big Saturday night ratings winner. Mr Mahoud is head chef of Chef Aly Catering, the firm he set up back in 2015 after spending many years working for a number of tour catering companies and as a private chef. He works providing food for music and touring industry artists and crews, on site at film and TV locations and in green rooms.

He has long served as both the personal and tour chef for Mrs Brown's Boys, plus he's a big supporter of the series and has worked on the MTV Europe Awards for the last five years. A statement on his website says: "We are committed to providing high quality food and Green Rooms.
