All Round To Mrs Brown’s is getting a second series
If you enjoyed All Round To Mrs Brown’s here’s some good news for you – it’s coming back for a second series.
News of the second series came as the first came to an end on BBC One on Saturday night – with the Beeb confirming that the show will be back for another six-part run in 2018.
‘The whole family are thrilled with the reception the show has received on Saturday nights,’ Brendan O’Carroll – aka Mrs Brown herself – said.
‘Although our focus right now is on the Christmas Specials of our regular Mrs Brown’s Boys Show, we are excited that 2018 will see party time at the Browns’ house again.’
‘All Round to Mrs Brown’s has been a huge hit for BBC One on Saturday nights,’ said Director of BBC Content Charlotte Moore.
‘I am delighted Mrs Brown will be opening her home for a second series, with her unique blend of fun and mischief.’
The series sees O’Carroll, as the cardigan-wearing foul-mouthed ‘mammy’, welcoming guests into her home – with screen daughter Cathy (Jennifer Gibney) interviewing the celebs while she entertains their mothers in the kitchen.
Pamela Anderson, Louis Walsh, Ross Kemp and Holly Willoughby – who shocked viewers by flashing her Spanx during her time on the show – were among the guests heading to the Brown household over the course of the past six weeks.
I would love to see Catherine Tates 'nan' and Mrs Brown together. That would so hilarious lol 😂😂😂
